RollOReel basics

What RollOReel makes, who it is for, and how little technical knowledge you need.

What is RollOReel?

RollOReel helps businesses turn existing photos into polished product visuals, social reels, product videos, and short video ads. You can use the self-serve Platform or choose RollOReel Creative when you want the work handled for you.

Who is RollOReel designed for?

RollOReel is designed for busy owners, managers, and small teams that need better visual content but do not have an in-house video or creative department. It works especially well for product businesses and visually led local services.

Do I need to write AI prompts?

No. The Platform asks what you want to make and uses your photos and business context to guide the result. Advanced options may be available, but prompt writing is not required.

Do I need video editing or design skills?

No. RollOReel is built around guided choices instead of a traditional editing timeline. You review the source, choose the result, and download the finished content.

What can I create with RollOReel?

You can create styled product images, photo-to-video reels, product demonstration videos, presenter-led or product-led short ads, and multi-asset content for websites, social media, email, and sales outreach.

Which industries can use RollOReel?

Common uses include apparel, jewelry, food and beverage, real estate, hospitality, clinics and aesthetics, automotive, fitness, events, ecommerce, professional services, and other local businesses with useful photos.

02 · FAQ category

Photos, staging, and quality

How to start with the assets you already have and improve them when necessary.

Do I need existing video footage?

No. A clear photo is enough to start many RollOReel workflows. Existing video clips can still be useful when you want to combine real footage with generated content.

What kinds of photos can I upload?

You can use product photos, apparel and jewelry images, food photos, property or room images, team and service photos, event images, and other business-owned visual assets that you have permission to use.

Can RollOReel work with phone photos?

Yes. Well-lit, sharp phone photos often work well. Cleaner backgrounds, visible product details, and enough space around the subject usually give the system more room to create natural movement.

What if my photo is blurry, dark, or not ready for video?

Use the image refinement or staging workflow first. It can improve clarity, prepare a stronger scene, or place a product in context before you turn the result into a reel.

How does RollOReel protect important product details?

The workflow uses source analysis, conservative motion choices, reference images where helpful, and review steps before final production. AI output can still vary, so detail-sensitive products should always be reviewed before publication.

When should I add reference images?

Reference images are useful when the product, room, vehicle, or subject has important details that are easier to understand from more than one angle. They can improve consistency in complex scenes.

How many photos can I upload to a Studio project?

Studio Mode accepts up to 25 photos in the guided setup upload. More photos can be added later from inside the project, so 25 is a setup-batch limit rather than a hard lifetime project cap. Each photo can become a possible video clip.

Reels, product videos, and ads

What the different output types mean and where they fit in a customer journey.

How does a photo become a reel?

RollOReel analyzes the subject and composition, selects a suitable movement and framing approach, creates a short clip, and lets you combine approved clips into a finished reel.

What is the difference between a social reel and a product video?

A social reel is usually paced to earn attention quickly in a feed. A product video is more focused on detail, use, movement, or explanation and may be used on a product page, in a sales conversation, or inside an ad.

Can RollOReel create video ads from photos?

Yes. RollOReel can combine product visuals, an audience-relevant message, an offer or reason to act, and a clear next step into a short video ad.

What is a presenter-led video ad?

A presenter-led ad uses an on-screen presenter to explain the product, make the benefit easier to understand, and guide the viewer toward a next step. It is useful when the offer needs a human explanation.

What is a product-led video ad?

A product-led ad keeps the product and its visual details at the centre of the story. It is useful for launches, collections, promotions, and products that sell strongly through appearance or motion.

Can finished videos include music, narration, and captions?

Depending on the workflow, finished videos can include music, narration, on-screen text, captions, brand elements, and calls to action. The available options and any extra credit cost are shown before final production.

Which video sizes and formats are supported?

RollOReel supports vertical 9:16 video for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and Stories; square 1:1 content for feeds; and landscape 16:9 video for websites, YouTube, presentations, and display screens.

Platform or Creative

Choose self-serve production or a done-for-you relationship without changing the core visual standard.

What is the difference between RollOReel Platform and RollOReel Creative?

Platform is self-serve: you upload photos, choose what to make, and use credits as you create. Creative is done for you: the RollOReel team plans and produces the agreed content and can support publishing, advertising, websites, and related customer touchpoints.

When should I choose the Platform?

Choose Platform when you want control, quick turnarounds, and the flexibility to create content as needed without a monthly Platform fee.

When should I choose RollOReel Creative?

Choose Creative when your team is short on time, needs a consistent monthly content rhythm, wants broader brand direction, or prefers one partner to coordinate visuals, reels, ads, and digital presence.

What can RollOReel Creative handle?

Creative services can include product image refinement, try-on and staging, reels and product videos, ad creative and campaign management, social content management, website design and development, Google Business Profile support, and a virtual voice receptionist. The exact mix, volume, channels, and boundaries depend on the selected plan or agreement.

Can I use both Platform and Creative?

Yes. A business can use Platform for fast day-to-day creation and Creative for larger campaigns, ongoing production, or work that needs a coordinated team.

What happens in a Brand Review?

A Brand Review looks at the assets and customer touchpoints you already have, identifies the clearest gaps, and recommends a focused first step. It is a planning conversation, not a guarantee of specific marketing results.

05 · FAQ category

Pricing and credits

How self-serve credit packs differ from done-for-you plans and advertising costs.

How do RollOReel credits work?

Credits are the pay-as-you-go balance used by self-serve creation tools. The Platform shows the credit cost before you start a paid action, so you can decide whether to continue.

Does the Platform require a monthly subscription?

No. Platform credit packs are one-time purchases. Optional automatic top-up is not a subscription and can be turned off.

Do purchased credits expire?

Purchased credits are valid for 12 months (365 days) from purchase unless a longer period is shown at checkout. Welcome, referral, or promotional credits may use the expiry shown when they are issued.

Can I try RollOReel before buying credits?

New-account starter-credit availability is shown during sign-up and inside the account. Content made with free or promotional credits may include a RollOReel watermark until a qualifying paid purchase.

How is RollOReel Creative priced?

Creative is priced according to the selected plan and scope. Monthly content, advertising support, website work, media spend, hosting, usage, and third-party costs may be priced separately when applicable.

Are views, leads, or sales guaranteed?

No. Results can vary based on the offer, audience, source assets, placement, budget, competition, timing, and many other factors. RollOReel improves the quality and consistency of the content and process but does not guarantee a specific business result.

06 · FAQ category

Rights, privacy, and responsible use

What happens to uploaded content and what businesses should review before publishing.

Who owns the photos I upload?

You retain ownership of the photos, images, audio, and other content you upload. You grant RollOReel a limited licence to process that content only as needed to provide the service, as described in the Terms of Service.

Can I upload any image I find online?

No. You should upload only content you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for respecting copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and other third-party rights.

Can I use RollOReel content for business marketing?

RollOReel is designed for business marketing, subject to the Terms of Service and any third-party licence restrictions that apply to source assets, music, voices, models, platforms, or other services used in the workflow.

How long are uploaded and generated files kept?

Projects and Media Library assets are automatically soft-archived 30 days after creation. Archiving removes them from active views and expires normal download access; it is not immediate permanent deletion. Download important files before the 30-day archive window ends.

Can AI-generated results vary?

Yes. AI output is non-deterministic, which means results can differ between generations and may occasionally change details unexpectedly. Review every asset before publishing it.

Where can I read the privacy and usage rules?

The RollOReel Privacy Policy explains data collection, retention, and privacy rights. The Terms of Service explain credits, acceptable use, uploaded content, generated content, and other service conditions.

07 · FAQ category

Publishing, performance, and support

Where finished content can be used and what to do when a result needs attention.

Where can I use finished RollOReel content?

Common placements include Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites, product pages, email, digital advertising, sales presentations, and direct outreach.

Does RollOReel publish content for me?

Platform users download and publish their own finished content. Creative plans may include scheduling or publishing support when it is part of the agreed scope.

Does creating a video ad include paid campaign management?

Not automatically. Ad creation produces the creative asset. Campaign setup, targeting, media buying, optimization, reporting, and ad spend are separate unless they are included in a Creative agreement.

What should I do if I do not like a generated result?

Review the source photo, try a refined or staged source, simplify the movement, use a reference image, or regenerate with another available option. Because AI results vary, a second generation may look different.

What happens if a production job fails?

Confirmed production failures are handled through the credit reservation and adjustment process. If the balance does not correct automatically, contact Support with the project or campaign ID.

How do I contact RollOReel support?

Existing users can open a support ticket from the dashboard. New customers can use the Help Centre, the RollOReel assistant, or the Brand Review form for questions about the right starting point.
